The Information Helpline is an information and referral service which can be reached by calling 1-800-950-6264. General information is provided on a variety of mental health illnesses and resources. Referrals are made to local affiliates and programs.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Northern Virginia is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support and education to people living with a mental health condition, family members, and friends. Our community education programs raise awareness and make available presentations to civic groups, businesses, and agencies. NAMI Northern Virginia is a local affiliate of NAMI; NAMI Northern Virginia directly provides programs and services in Northern Virginia.
